Dessie Carbone is a Realtor and Property Manager with Valley Homes Realty & Property Management, proudly serving Huntsville and the surrounding North Alabama communities.

Born and raised in Huntsville, Dessie has a genuine connection to the community she has always called home. She has watched North Alabama grow and change considerably over the years and brings that local perspective to clients who are buying, selling, investing, relocating, or managing property throughout the area.

Before building her career in real estate and property management, Dessie developed extensive professional experience in Human Resources. That background continues to shape the way she approaches her work today and is one of her greatest strengths.

Dessie has an ability to step into complicated situations, remove the noise and emotion surrounding them, identify what actually needs to be addressed, and focus on finding a productive path forward. Whether she is navigating a challenging property management issue, helping a client work through an important real estate decision, or coordinating multiple people to solve a problem, she approaches the situation calmly, objectively, and with the end result in mind.

That calmness is something clients and coworkers quickly recognize. Dessie has a reassuring presence that inspires confidence, particularly when circumstances become stressful or unexpected. She is thoughtful and kind, but she is also decisive, practical, and not afraid to take ownership of a challenge.

As both a REALTOR® and Property Manager, Dessie works with buyers, sellers, rental property owners, residents, and investors. Her hands-on experience in property management has given her an understanding of leasing, maintenance, property condition, resident relationships, owner communication, and the ongoing responsibilities involved in operating rental property successfully.

She is also not someone who believes every problem can be solved from behind a desk.

When a property needs attention, Dessie is willing to step into the field, work through the details, coordinate what needs to happen, and help get the property where it needs to be. Whether that means preparing a home for market, addressing an unexpected issue, working with vendors, or simply doing what is necessary to keep something moving forward, she is not afraid to get her hands dirty.

Dessie believes strong real estate service requires both compassion and objectivity. She takes the time to understand what matters to her clients while also helping them separate the circumstances surrounding a situation from the decisions that need to be made. Her goal is to help clients understand their options, evaluate what makes sense, and move forward with confidence.

As the wife of a military veteran and part of a military family, Dessie also understands that real estate decisions often happen alongside much larger life transitions. Relocations, career changes, growing families, financial decisions, and unexpected circumstances can all influence when and why someone needs to make a move.

As a wife and mother of two, she understands that choosing or selling a home is rarely just about the property itself. Budget, schools, commute, lifestyle, family needs, long-term plans, and financial goals can all be part of the decision.

Dessie is also pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, continuing an educational path that closely reflects the work she has always been drawn to: helping people navigate challenges, evaluate their options, and find a productive way forward.
