Wendy Carbone began her real estate career in 1999 after obtaining her real estate license in Virginia. Over more than two decades in the industry, she has gained experience in multiple real estate markets across the country, giving her a broad perspective on how local conditions, economic trends, and changing markets can impact buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners.

 

As a military spouse for 20 years, Wendy relocated frequently and experienced firsthand the challenges that come with buying, selling, and moving in unfamiliar markets. That experience helped shape her practical approach to real estate and gave her a strong understanding of the importance of clear communication, preparation, and having knowledgeable representation during major transitions.

 

Wendy and her family moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 2012 following her husband’s retirement from the U.S. Army. After establishing roots in North Alabama, she and her son, Anthony Carbone, went on to build Valley Homes Realty & Property Management.

 

Today, Wendy serves as Co-Owner of Valley Homes and plays an integral role in the company’s leadership, financial oversight, and continued growth. In addition to her professional real estate experience, Wendy has managed her own investment properties, giving her direct insight into the responsibilities and decisions that come with property ownership and long-term real estate investing.

 

Her experience spans residential sales, investment property, leasing, and property management, allowing her to look at real estate from multiple perspectives rather than through the lens of a single transaction.

 

Wendy believes successful real estate decisions come from understanding the bigger picture. Whether someone is purchasing a first home, selling a property, relocating, or building an investment portfolio, she values thoughtful planning, sound financial decision-making, and helping clients understand how each decision fits into their larger goals.

 

Over the years, Wendy has seen real estate markets change significantly, but her approach has remained consistent: focus on the fundamentals, understand the numbers, communicate clearly, and make decisions based on experience rather than emotion.
