  • Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?

    A: No. Rentals are not removed from the market without a signed lease and receipt of security deposit.
  • Q: How old do you have to be to apply?

    A: In the state of Alabama, the minimum age to rent real property is 19 years old.
  • Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?

    A: You can apply online directly from the property listing. Select “Apply Now” at the top of the page. Be sure to review the Screening Criteria. Call us at 256.665.9996 to schedule a showing. Our agents are very dedicated and committed to finding you the perfect home!
  • Q: How do I pay rent?

    A: Tenants are able to pay their monthly rent online electronically with either a debit/credit card or bank routing and account number. Payments can also be made by check or money order in person at our office: 3508 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville, AL 35801
  • Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?

    A: Some owners allow pets, but some do not. Each rental listing clearly states if pets are allowed and any conditions you will need to consider. Each city’s requirements can also differ, and we will always abide by those requirements. This may mean that you will need to register your pet with the city and/or provide pedigree and vaccination documents.   • Q: Can I smoke in my rental?

    A: No. Valley Homes does not permit smoking in our rentals or improved structures on-site (i.e. garage, porch, shed, etc.)
  • Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?

    A: You are required to provide written notice that you will vacate 30 days prior to the end date of your lease. Your notice must be received by our office prior to the last day of the month. The 30-day period will begin the following month.
  • Q: Does Valley Homes permit subleasing?

    A: With owner consent, we allow subleasing on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for details.
